Penny Arcade is a high-energy band specializing in music that will make you want to dance all night! The name says it all: Penny Arcade’s song list is filled with top pop, punk, and rock hits you’d find on the juke box at your neighborhood arcade or dance hall from 1980 through the mid-90s.
If you love Blondie, The Ramones, The Clash, The Pretenders, Robert Palmer, The Romantics, Wham!, Pat Benatar, 4 Non-Blondes, The Cars, The B-52s and other top rock, punk and pop bands from the 80s, you’ll love Penny Arcade. We also feature rock hits from Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Blues Traveler, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Billy Squier, Loverboy, Journey, Joe Walsh, Eddie Money, Heart, Van Halen and lots of other eclectic (some folks call them surprising) selections of classic rock favorites performed by virtually no other bands in the region.
Penny Arcade is a high-energy alternative to the standard set lists you’ll hear from most cover bands that feature blues-rock and oldies from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Our motto is “No CCR, No Skynynrd!” Don’t get us wrong: we love ’em, but everybody else already plays ’em! We appreciate the talent and musicianship of our friends’ bands, so instead of duplicating or competing with them, we’re bringing you a different vibe entirely.
